Getting Started

This spot is for updates from the Burrowers (Jared and Bridget) to share stories, updates, plans, and thoughts with the the Burrowed (Annie, Madi, Everett, Foster) and trusted family (Woodlings). We will try to include life as it happens for each of us.

Annie is enjoying life as a bookworm and can be found throughout the Burrow engrossed in some fantastic story of friendship, love, vampires, werewolves, and sometimes... murder. If she isn't reading, she is teaching the rest of us about world history, tutoring the boys, or singing and dancing.

Madi is honing her skills as a costume and make-up artist by designing impressive costumes for cosplay. She also keeps us all on our toes with her quick wits and funny jokes. Every now and then she will break out some mad sports skills and throw a mean softball pitch or drop into a random split on the floor.

Everett continues to draw, becoming ever-better at creepy monsters, and whistles or hums while he works. He is enjoying collecting Pokemon cards and likes to compare and trade with his brother and friends from school. He has developed his own little fence at school and trades items for more Pokemon cards or Bus Bucks that he can spend on treats at school, even though he doesn't ride the bus.

Foster is as active and wild as ever. If there is a place in the Burrow to climb, hang on, or jump off of he will find it. He continues to show love by alternating cuddles with punches, maintaining his position as the most feral of our children. He is working on synthesizing his strong will and headstrong personality into determination and success at school and baseball.

Jared (Dada) is working Tuesday-Friday from 8-6 and looks forward to coming home each day. A new job opportunity has presented itself, which would enable him to work from home and increase time spent with the family. If this comes to fruition, more time will be available to allocate for the gym, cooking healthy meals when Bee is at work, and planning adventures for The Six.

Bee (Mom/Bridget) is the glue that holds the home together. She continues to work hard, full-time as a leader at one of the busiest hospitals in East Tennessee. She is also exceling at school, making straight A's - while continuing to make dinner for The Six almost every night.

Frequency of updates from The Burrowers is yet to be determined... Stay tuned.
